My
name's Michelle Woodward. I was a graduate student for the years 2000
- 2002 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the Comparative
Media Studies Program. This program seeks to understand how media and
society interact through a critical and theoretical approach that views
media in it's historical, cultural, and social contexts. Part of the
program is the workshop class where students get a chance to use media
creatively. For my second semester project I created this web site as
a way to explore my interests in photographic systems of representation
and to reflect on my experiences as a photographer. (You'll find more
information on my photo work in the first journal entry.)
