Photo Editor / Photo Researcher

+ Available for freelance assignments to find and deliver the best photographs for your project +

My service covers the process from start to finish:

+ Presentation of a selection of compelling photographs to the client
+ Negotiation of fair licensing fees from image providers
+ Securing the proper rights to publish
+ Delivery of the high-resolution images along with accurate caption and credit information

My qualifications include many years of experience sourcing high-quality, unique photographs for the award-winning magazine Middle East Report, the documentary film Holy Land: Common Ground, book authors and publishers such as Palgrave-Macmillan, and non-profit organizations such as the UN's International Labour Organization.

I maintain excellent contacts with photo agencies and photographers and an extensive database.

As a photographer myself with experience living in the Middle East and an education in media studies, photography and art history, I am especially qualified to evaluate images of the region for their effectiveness and accuracy.

I am available for any project -- book covers and inside illustrations, magazine articles and photo essays, films and web sites.
