As photo editor for Middle East Report magazine the past 4 years, I have built up contacts with an impressive range of photographers of the Middle East and top-notch photo agencies.

I have worked with a number of scholars of the Middle East to find the right cover photo for their book that reflects the substance of their work, rather than the marketing prerogatives or preconceptions of the publisher's designers.

My experiences of living and working in the Middle East and of studying the region over the past 16 years enable me to thoughtfully evaluate and select images that go beyond the usual cliches.

As a photographer myself with an education in media studies, photography and art history, I have an excellent eye for the most compelling images.

In addition to finding the best photos, I will work hard to secure reasonable licensing fees for your use of the photo. I provide full caption information and complete details on how to license the photos you choose.
